Foundational Yoga is a Hatha style class that combines movement, breathing, and a foundation for understanding basic yoga poses and how they benefit the body.
This class sounds exactly like it's title. Enjoy small or gentle movements that wake up and engage your body.
Beginner Yoga is a Hatha style yoga class that teaches the very basics of yoga including poses, breathing, alignment, and more. This class is great for beginners and advanced students who could use a reminder on some of the basics. This class is not designed to "graduate" from but to be part of your yoga routine for as long as you need it.
SoYoQi (so-yo-chi) is a one hour class integrating the somatic movements of yoga and qigong (and pilates and Tai Chi). The goal of this class is to increase the body's energy, mobility and strength as well as decrease stress and anxiety. This practice can improve your strength, balance, flexibility, posture and mindfulness through gentle activities including tapping, flows and poses that incorporate breath and body awareness. This class is accessible and beneficial to all levels of fitness and requires no previous yoga or qigong. Looking to explore new avenues toward health and feeling better? Join us for the new SoYoQi Class at Bodhi Yoga.
Yin Yoga is a restorative-like practice of stillness, breathing/pranayama, meditation and bodily awareness. In yin yoga, the student will focus on breath while holding a yoga pose for a minimum of three minutes. Yoga poses are held for this long so that the benefits reach the deeper connective tissues in the body and with practice begins to lengthen those tissues. Every pose will come with options, modifications and prop suggestions. Amber plays soothing lo-fi music and finishes every class with at least a five minute savasana.
Push yourself (without hurting yourself) in one of our heated classes. This class is a power vinyasa style class with elements of isometrics to engage and tone your core. You'll leave feeling happy, sweaty, and wanting to come back again next week!
Vinyasa Yoga is designed to get you moving through the poses. This class is currently on rotation. Some instructors styles may have you moving quickly and breaking a sweat. Others may teach a slow-flow style vinyasa in which you hold the positions a little longer and feel that burn. Regardless of how the class is taught, it is designed for you to go at your own pace. Instructors can give modifications or add levels to some poses to challenge the class but they are optional. Yoga is not about keeping up with a class but about you doing what feels right in your body.
In class, we’ll blend precision and flow, using breath and mindful movement to energize your body and clear your mind. Whether you’re new to Pilates or building on an existing practice, I’m here to support your journey—with options to incorporate props like bands and balls to keep things fresh and fun. Come join me on the mat!
Cardio+Core is an upbeat, full-body interval workout that focuses on body weight exercises aimed to increase endurance with rests in between sets, ending with a core series on the mat
